Editing Pages Best Practices (Drag & Drop Builder)

How do I duplicate portions of my page?

You can duplicate entire sections or single rows or columns of your page. The duplicate button can be found in the layout menu on the left, just to the right of the delete button for each element, as seen below.

Working with section visibility

You can toggle the visibility of individual sections on your page. This can be useful in a number scenarios, including:

  • when you have multiple version (duplicates) of the same page and want to display different content on them.
  • you want to prepare a section ahead of time and only show it later on… for instance you could create a section containing your call to action and toggle its visibility after a certain date (and update your published page).

To toggle a section’s visibility, open the layout settings sidebar and click the eye icon.

How do I switch from a 2-column layout to a 3-column layout?

Once you have added a section to your page, you can change the number of rows or columns in the layout menu on the left. First navigate to the section, then add a row or a column to your layout, as seen below.

Is there a way to change all the hyperlink colors at once for the entire page?

No, however you can change the color of individual hyperlinks by adjusting the text’s color settings in the formatting pop-up.

What’s the best way to figure out the right image sizes for my page?

Images will automatically resize to fit the column they are in, so a wide range of image sizes will work depending on your page's layout and structure. You can adjust the width of an image widget by resizing the column it's in (provided you are using a layout with more than one column). Images that are smaller than their column’s width will not be scaled up to fit.

How can I change the spacing/padding around page components?

The padding can be adjusted within the settings for sections or columns. Go to the settings for the section or row by clicking the gear icon that shows up on the right side of the layout menu, as seen below.

You can then adjust the padding on the top, left, right, and bottom using the slider bar as needed.
