These are some of the details you’ll want to keep in mind as you get started with Center’s ONTRAPORT integration:
- Center sends contacts to either Smart Forms or Sequences. You’ll want to have at least one set up before integrating.
Integrating Center with ONTRAPORT
- If you don’t already have an API key, request one in ONTRAPORT from Administration › Integrations › ONTRAPORT API Instructions and Key Manager. Be sure to check all of the available boxes when you create a key.
- In a new Center rule under “Set up your actions,” click + Add Action then + Connect More. Choose ONTRAPORT from the integrations modal.
- Paste in your API Key and App ID, then hit Connect.

What happens if I select an ONTRAform in my action?
ONTRAPORT will collect the number of contacts passed to the form, but their field data (email, name, etc.) may or may not end up in ONTRAPORT (depending on what information was first collected from your contacts). Instead of using ONTRAforms, we recommend using Smart Forms or Sequences.
