Why does the formatting break on my WordPress page when I place a Leadbox on it?

In some WordPress installations when you make a change in a page or post from the Text view (i.e., typically, when you set up a Leadbox in that post/page) the formatting of the page/post is distorted. This is not caused by our Leadbox code, but by WordPress removing paragraph tags such as <p> and <br />.

Fortunately, there is a plugin you can use to prevent this issue from happening in the future. You can use the plugin TinyMCE Advanced to avoid such formatting issues in the future.

Learn more about the plugin here.

Once installed, it will replace the default text editor. Be sure to edit the settings within the plugin to keep paragraph tags, as seen here:

This will prevent formatting issues from occurring on your post/pages in the future. Please note: installing the plugin will not fix any formatting issues that have already occurred, those you would need to be fixed manually.
