This how-to article describes the basic steps for adding a Leadbox to a blog post.
Step 1: Create your Leadbox, and then navigate to its publishing options.
For full instructions on creating a Leadbox, please see our guide here: Creating a Leadbox. You can access the publishing options for your Leadbox by clicking its title in your list of Leadboxes, or through the "Publish" button in the upper-right corner of the Leadbox editor, as shown below:
Step 2: Choose the type of Leadbox you’d like to use and copy the HTML code.
In this example, we’ll be using the plain text link option, as shown below:
Step 3: Paste your HTML code into your blog post.
If you’re using WordPress to power your blog, here is how to publish your Leadbox code:
While editing your blog post (or creating a new one), be sure to switch over to the "Text" editor, which will allow you to paste in HTML. Then, paste in the code for your Leadbox where you want it to appear in your post, as shown below:
Then, when you publish your post, you’ll see your Leadbox link, button, or image appear, as seen here:
Clicking on the Leadbox "trigger" will cause your Leadbox to pop up, and visitors can opt-in to your list!
That’s all there is to it!
You can publish your Leadboxes to any blog post (or other webpages) to collect opt-ins and grow your audience!
