The first thing you'll want to do is create a Leadpage containing your legal/privacy information that you can link to. Or, if you already have a webpage on your existing site that contains this information, you can use the URL of that page as well.
On Choosing a Leadpages Template…
You can use any Leadpages template as a legal/privacy page. That said, you may want to start with a template originally designed to have a lot of text. Some examples of templates you might use include:
- Ultimate Guide Chapter Page
- Free Course 2.0 Page
- Jeff Walker Sales Page
As with any template you use, you can hide any elements that aren't needed for your legal or privacy page.
PLEASE NOTE: None of the text that comes with any Leadpages template is intended to serve as legal or policy text, and should be customized to suit the legal needs of your business.

Steps to Link Your Leadpage to Your Legal/Privacy Page
Step 1: Look for an existing link to “Legal Information” or a similar element on your template.
If a template includes it, this can normally be found within a “Footer” section, as shown in this example:
If your template doesn’t seem to have an existing element to be linked to a legal page, you can add the appropriate text to any text box as shown here:
Step 2: Hyperlink your text to link to your legal page.
Highlight the text you would like linked and select the hyperlink Icon in the format bar as shown above.
Then, set the link to Go to a URL and enter in your corresponding link information below, changing any settings you’d like. Click Done to save your changes.
You can repeat the second step on any number of Leadpages, using the same legal/privacy Leadpage if you’d like.
