The line widget can be used to define thematic break or to separate content visually on a page.
Using the Line Widget
The line widget can be used to create a distinct separation between sections of your page, or between individual widgets.
The line widget will take up the width of whatever column it’s contained in. So for instance you can use a line to separate text on your page for example, as seen here:
Or separate an image from the rest of your page, as seen here:
You can change the color, weight, or style of any line on your page.
- The color picker allows you to choose from your brand colors, the page template colors, or click ADD next to "Page Colors" to enter hex codes or select a different color for your date widget as seen here:
- Increase or decrease the weight (thickness) of the line on a scale of 1–10, as shown below.
- Choose between a Solid, Dashed, or Dotted line style, as seen below.
Tips and Frequently Asked Questions
Can I adjust the spacing around a line?
The margin or padding cannot be adjusted around a line at this time.
TIP: Bigger isn’t always better!
You don’t necessarily need a line at maximum thickness to create a visual separation. A subtle line using a smaller weight and low contrast color can sometimes be just as effective and less distracting. If your line captures more attention than the content it separates, then you may need to adjust it.
