The Different Types of Leadpages Templates

This article describes the different types of templates we offer in Leadpages:

Free templates

Every Leadpages subscription includes dozens of templates at no extra cost. You can browse designs from the Templates tab in your account dashboard.

We offer two types of free templates: Standard and Drag & Drop.

  • Standard templates allow you to customize your pages’ content, colors, and fonts. You can hide any elements you don’t use, but can’t add additional content or rearrange sections.
  • Drag & Drop templates allow for much greater design flexibility. You can rearrange sections, add and remove content widgets, and edit your page’s style to completely customize templates. Learn more…

In our template browser, choose a tab to view Standard or Drag & Drop designs (as shown below).

To narrow your search, you can use the “Sorty by” options to arrange templates by when they were released or how well they convert on average. If you’d like to browse templates from a specific category, simply use the “Filter by” drop-down menu.

Finally, you can use our search field if you know what template you’d like to use by name—or to find templates that match a certain keyword.

TIP: Templates from any category can be used for other purposes. In fact, some templates are listed under multiple categories. We strongly recommend choosing a template based on its elements, rather than its suggested category or purpose (especially for Standard pages).

Premium templates

Our Template Marketplace is a great place to find tons of premium designs from third-party authors. To view tempaltes for sale, click the “Filter by” drop-down menu, then turn on the switch next to “Show Premium”.

If you want to browse only premium templates, select the “Premium” category in the filter menu as well.

At this time, premium templates are only available for our Standard Builder. For more information on our Marketplace, check out: Leadpages Marketplace FAQ.

Once you purchase a template, you can find it in the Templates tab under the “Premium” section (within the “Filter by” drop-down).

NOTE: Templates in our Marketplace are designed by third parties and aren’t supported by Leadpages. If you need technical support for a premium template—or simply have feedback for the author—you can submit a comment at the bottom of that template’s preview page.
