How to Integrate iContact with Your Leadpage

Once you have set up your initial integration with your iContact account, it's time to choose a template and complete the integration steps with iContact. When you've chosen a template follow these steps here: 

Step 1: Click on a Call to Action button in your Leadpage Template and select "Link Options."


Step 2: Select 'Show Opt-in Form."

Step 3: Click the drop down arrow next to "Advanced Settings" and View/Edit the form.

Step 4: Choose your iContact list from the two Drop-down menus.

Step 5: Select your email list.

If it does not appear, click 'Reload'.


Step 6: Click "Customize this form."


NOTE: In the future, whenever you make a change in your iContact account, click "Reload" to update your iContact lists and forms, then re-save your Leadpage.


Step 7: Choose the Form Fields by checking the box to the left of each field name and click the blue "OKAY" button to save your selections.

Leadpages™ pulls the fields shown here from the fields that you created in your iContact form. If you have required a field on your iContact form, it must be included on your Leadpage as well. When you have selected your desired fields to include on your Leadpage, click the blue "OKAY" button.


Note: You must always click the blue "Okay" button to save your settings.


Step 8: Click "Save."


Test Your New Leadpage.

Now it's time to test your new Leadpage! After saving it, publish and test your Leadpage by completing the Opt-in form. Then, check to see that your testing email address has been added to your Constant Contact List and that any autoresponders that you have created in your iContact account have been sent.


PLEASE NOTE: Because iContact only allows double opt-in with forms but then only offers API integration with lists, you will not be able to set up any Leadpage that is integrated with iContact as double opt-in. This is a limitation set by iContact.
