Do Leadpages published to Facebook work on Mobile Devices?

At this time, Facebook does not allow Page Tabs to be viewed on mobile devices. (PLEASE NOTE: This is a limitation of Facebook, not Leadpages.)

However, we do provide a special Facebook redirect feature that will allow your mobile visitors to view your page. To set it up, simply follow the steps below:

Step 1: Create your Leadpage and publish it to Facebook.

After you finishing editing your page, be sure to click Save. Then, close the Leadpage editor.

Step 2: Navigate to the Leadpage's publish options.

Step 3: Activate the redirect feature and choose your redirect settings.

Check the "Redirect this URL" checkbox.

Next, enter the URL for your Facebook tab in the box and press Save.

Then, check the "Only redirect desktop traffic" option, so that mobile visitors will not be sent to your Facebook tab (since these tabs do not work on mobile devices). This will ensure that mobile visitors are still sent to your Leadpage's normal URL, while visitors on a computer are sent to your Facebook tab.

Your redirect is complete!

Mobile visitors will now be able to view your standard Leadpage, while desktop users will be forwarded to the Leadpage published to your Facebook page.

Facebook Ads on mobile devices

Since Facebook Tabs don’t show on mobile devices, we don’t recommend setting your Leadpages Facebook Tab as the destination for ads. Otherwise, mobile visitors won’t be able to click your ad and view your page.

To ensure both desktop and mobile visitors see the page you’re advertising, use your Leadpages-hosted URL (or one on your custom domain) as the destination of your Facebook Ad. Then create a redirect using the URL of your Facebook Tab (as described above).

Be sure to check “Only redirect desktop traffic” option so mobile visitors that click your ad will see the published page, and desktop visitors will see your Facebook Tab.
