Embedding ChatWING Code In Leadpages

Some Leadpages templates include a chat box, to be used during webinars or a live event. If the template you're using includes this feature, you can configure the chat box to work with ChatWING.

PLEASE NOTE: ChatWING's iframe embed code is hosted on a non-secure site (http://). Most browsers today do not allow embedding non-secure code on a secure page (https://) such as your Leadpage. In this case, there are two ways you can resolve this.

A. Enable secure hosting through ChatWING

Step 1: Contact ChatWING support to have SSL enabled.

Contact ChatWING support to notify them that you have a Leadpages.net account, and need to have an SSL-supported embed code. ChatWING support will need to enable access to the SSL Premium Feature directly in your ChatWING account.

Step 2: Activate SSL through your ChatWING Dashboard under “Chatbox > General options.”

Step 3: Choose a Leadpage that supports Chat.

If the template you select does not have the chat box feature, you will not be able to use ChatWING with that template. Here's a list of templates that include the chat feature:

  • G+ Hangout Page (Also A Video Sales Page, Webinar Replay Page, And Opt-In Page)
  • Live Page

Step 4: Select “Embed Options” from the gear drop down menu.

Step 5: Add your SSL Embed code from ChatWING.

Paste the code provided from ChatWING in the Embed Options section as shown here:

Be sure to click DONE and then save your page, and you should be all set!

B. Publish your Leadpage on your own server (http://yourdomain.com/page-name/).

Step 1: Choose a Leadpage that supports Chat.

  • G+ Hangout Page (Also A Video Sales Page, Webinar Replay Page, And Opt-In Page)
  • Live Page

Step 2: Select “Embed Options” from the gear drop down menu.

Step 2: Add your iframe Embed code from ChatWING.

Paste the code provided from ChatWING in the Embed Options section as shown here:

Step 3: Publish your Leadpage to your own server (http://) as outlined here.
