Choosing a Subdomain for Your Leadpages Account

Once you've set up your Leadpages account, you will need to choose a subdomain. Your subdomain is the URL for the Leadpages-hosted version of your pages. Your Leadpages-hosted page will have either the Leadpages.net or Leadpages.co domain name, and will look like this:

http://[YOUR_SUBDOMAIN].leadpages.co/your-page-name

The subdomain name you choose is entirely up to you.

Some people use their business name, some their personal name, and still others use a more generic term or word that bears significance for them or their business. All subdomain names must be at least 6 characters long. If the subdomain name you choose is already in use, the system will prompt you to select another name.

Different options for your published URL

The method you use to publish your Leadpage will determine what your URL will look like.

  • Using the Leadpages-hosted version of your page

Your Leadpages-hosted page will have either the Leadpages.net or Leadpages.co domain name, and will look like this:http://SUBDOMAIN.leadpages.co/your-page-name

  • Publishing your page to WordPress

Leadpages provides a free customized Leadpages WordPress Connector Plugin which you can use to host your Leadpage on your WordPress website where you assign your own page name, like this: http://yourURL.com/your-page-name

  • Publishing your page to your HTML site

Leadpages offers the option to download each of your pages and then upload them to your HTML website, where you can assign your own page name, like this: http://yourWEBSITE.com/your-page-name
