Before you begin building pages and sites, you’ll need to choose a Leadpages Domain for your account. When you publish on our servers, your domain will appear at the beginning of its URLs, like so:
Only one Leadpages site can be published to your Leadpages Domain.
If you’ve already got a domain—don’t worry. You can connect your domain to your Leadpages account. There are many ways to publish Lead Pages directly to other domains, so you don’t necessarily need to use the Leadpages URL. Learn more →
However, you must choose a Leadpages Domain for your account, even if you don’t use it.
Tips on choosing
You can use practically any word or phrase as a Leadpages Domain. Usually, it’s best to go with your business name (or your name if you’re a solo business owner).
There are a few requirements to keep in mind—your unique domain must:
- begin with a letter
- contain at least six characters
And like any URL, your domain can’t contain spaces, uppercase letters, or special characters. If someone is already using your chosen domain, you’ll be prompted to choose a different one.
Whatever domain you decide to use, keep in mind it will appear in the URL of any page you publish to our servers.
