This article explains why your text can appear misplaced and your page may behave incorrectly after editing text.
This typically happens when text/code is copied and pasted into your Leadpage from another website or application.
If you copy and paste HTML code or formatted text from another website or application (such as Microsoft Word) and paste it into Leadpages, it does not always behave as expected.
We are looking at a solution to prevent this from happening in the future, but for now, here is how you can prevent this issue:
Step 1: Locate the “problem” website or content that you would like to paste into your Leadpages template and copy it to your clipboard.
Step 2: Paste the content into a Notepad if you are on Windows or into TextEdit if you are on a Mac.
Be careful not to include any HTML code that may have been copied with it. It is important to use a text editor like Notepad or TextEdit instead of a word processor like Microsoft Word. Word processors can retain the bad code/formatting that you do not want to paste into your Leadpage.
Step 3: Once you have pasted the content into a text editor, select it and copy it to your clipboard.
Step 4: Paste the content you have copied from the text editor into Leadpages.
Now you should be free to make any formatting changes to the text within Leadpages (bold, italics, etc.)
