How To Use an Image or Button For Your Leadbox

You can use plain text, a button, or an image to link to a Standard Leadbox.

CONTENT OVERVIEW

Step 1: Create your Leadbox, or choose an existing one.

Step 2: Click Publish to select your Publish Options.

When you are ready to publish your Leadbox as an image, click Publish and select Image as your link type:

Step 3: Select your image.

Click the blue Select Image button, and select an image from those you have uploaded to your Leadpages account, or upload a new one.

 

Once the image is selected, you will see a preview of your Leadbox image.

 

Step 3A: If you want to use an image hosted on your own server…

If you prefer to link to an image hosted on your own server, simply replace the URL of the image in your Leadbox code with the URL of your self-hosted image, as seen here:

Step 4: Copy your HTML code.

Click into the HTML code box and copy the entire code:

 



Step 5: Publish your Leadbox Image.

You can paste this embed code into a blog post, page or text widget on your WordPress website. You can also paste this code on any site that allows you to add HTML code.

Use a Button instead of an Image

Step 1: Click Button in the link type settings in the Publishing options.

 Adjust the settings to get different text, background & text colors, roundness and shadow.



Step 2: Edit your button as desired.

You can customize the look of your button, including the background and text colors, roundness of its corners, and the button shadow. 

Step 3: Copy your HTML code, and publish your Leadbox Button.

Copy the HTML code of your Leadbox from the Publishing Options window. You can paste this embed code into a blog post, page or text widget on your WordPress website. You can also paste this code on any site that allows you to add HTML code.
